Mine nye selskinnstøvler :))

Yay... disse kom inn gjennom døra nu nettopp...har gleda mæ til æ fikk dæm. Italiensk design, laga av Grønlandsk selskinn, farga rødt.... kommer ikke til å fryse på pusselankan mine i vinter :))))) Pris?? Jævelsk dyrt... Bellona kommer vel etter mæ nu, men det bryr mæ lengst nede på ryggen, når æ bøye mæ for å plukke bær..
Yay... theese seal skin boots has just arrived. I`ve been longing for to start using them.. They are made in Italy, and are made of seal skin which is dyed red. I`m not gonna be freezing at my tippy toes this winter :)))) Prize??? Very expencive..

Lugga

De første luggan som jeg har laget noengang. Kommer nok flere etterhvert. Men dette blir ikke noe som jeg kommer til å lage daglig, tok enormt på skuldran. Men artig var det lell :))
My first attempt of making Lugga. Will make more of them, but not so often. My shoulders were very painful after sewing them. But anyway, they are warm andt light, and you can really wear them outside in the snow. But it must be real snow, not wet snow. My old folks/family used to make them long time ago, before 1900 and also afterwards. There weren`t much money around, so they used what they had. And nowadays they are modern again... funny I think...and they also cost some money. People really pays for to get hold of a pair of lugga.....

I started as usual at a pattern... but of course I hate reading patterns so the cast on is right, but no gauge or other things are followed... why do I hate read patterns??? But anyway, the yarn is so thick that you don`t have to use any pattern, it is self going :))))))

My new photo model ;))

I got this little lady about 14 days ago , she is ca. 2,5 month old. She can really mess up everything, all the time ... yarn, curtains, tableclothes, wallpaper etc. etc. and want to play with everything... not much quiet knitting on me theese days..

It is not much sound of this little lady. She can`t talk loudly (luckily). When she tries to make a sound, it only comes out a quietly: hizz. If she could talk loudly, she would have been talking all day.... I`ll give her that: she tries to talk all the time...

Name suggestions anyone???

Colin Fry show in Tromsø

16.august 2010 it was a Colin fry show in Tromsø. I just had to get there, because I`m really a big fan of him. And as an extra present: T.J.Higgs were there too,... Big smile all over my face, do I need to say more??? Look at the photo, I`m touching both of them (even bigger smile). And my dad sent me a reminder: You need to take care of the heating system at home, the winter is soon coming. If I was alive I would have done that for you (the message was not correctly written here, but i reconized my dads nagging if there was someting he knew had to be done). My mum told me that I don`t have to drink to be funny, after the show I was in Heaven, clapping my hands and just laugh about everything and anything... at last I was to se my heroes for real :)))))) (while looking at the photo I saw it... oh...my god: I need to colour my hair :)

Me and my mum took Hurtigruten from Hammerfest to Tromsø, and during this trip we:

Knitted of course... nothing new about that.... by the way it was a strange weather, it was really snowing (in the summer?) Jepp... it Is true. I have never seen snow soooo early in the summer before. It is early even to be in North norway.... have a look at Tromsdalstinden (In Tromsø).

Lady february sweater

Denne jakka skal jeg strikke flere av. Helt enkel modell som går fint over den breie ræva mi. Mønstret holdt hva det lovet. Det eneste var at neste gang som jeg strikker den, skal jeg ikke bruke riktig så mange masker rundt armene og på selve kroppen. Nådde bare å bruke den en gang,før mamma deklamerte at den ville hun ha.
I`m gonna knit more of this pattern. Simple and fast knitted. The model keeps what it promises, and goes well over my broad rump. But next time I`m not gonna use so many stitches as descibed. I reached to use it only one time, then my mother claimed it.
